We were proud to sponsor again this year the Unsung Hero Award at the Staff Excellence Awards evening held at Kingsmill Hospital on 23rd October. Hosted by local radio DJ Stewart Nicholson the event is always so inspirational recognising as it does the wonderful staff who work so hard to make a difference every day behind the scenes at the Trust.

Attending the event were many local dignitaries including the Lord Mayor and the Chief Executive and Chairman of Sherwood Forest Hospital Trust.

Representing SOLOS were Steve Dodd, Phil Sowter and Kris van Wellen. Phil awarded the Unsung Hero award to a very worthy Sue Widdison.
