Czech Republic, Brno / Hybrid – 1-2 days a week onsite
- Strong hands-on experience in networking, RHOCP Platform, routing and switching and Cisco Network Hardware like Cisco switches, Cisco ASA firewalls.
- Strong practical knowledge of network concepts including DNS, DHCP, VPN, network protocols, port configuration, link aggregation, spanning tree optimization, and performance tuning
- Strong knowledge of routing protocols, EIGRP, BGP and OSPF.
- Provide Level-2/3 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues.
- Cisco CCNA Routing and Switching is a strong plus.
- RedHat OpenShift certification is a strong plus.
- Deep knowledge of Container technology.
- Should have very strong and deep knowledge of SDN (Software Defined Network)
- Hands-on experience on Multi-vendor hardware like Checkpoint firewalls, Cisco ASA, Juniper SRX, & Proxy hardware
- Develop and execute Proof of Concept and/or Deployment Acceptance test plan and test reports
- Develop implementation guide with configuration templates and deployment plan for the customers deploying SDN products
- Execute or assist our customer executing the deployment plan
- Manage customer escalations
- Provide technical direction to internal teams and customers based on customer business requirements
- Experience in Open Shift is Required.
- Experience in Unix operating system (Required)
- Experience in scripting (Preferred)
- Load Balancers : Troubleshoot hardware and software operation. Strong knowledge on all data flow through the load balancer
Key Responsibilities :
- You will be working on leading Open Source SDN projects, contributing quality upstreamsource code.
- Adding new solutions and features to SDN projects, writing blueprints
- Engage in Open Source Community discussions
- Participating in Architectural discussions
- Guiding team on various SDN components and solutions
- Handling network outages that involves debugging and providing immediate resolutions.
- Working closely with customers and onsite teams across the globe.
- Raising and tracking issues with other partner vendors.
Skills:
- Container technologies Docker, Kubernetes Infrastructure-as-as-Service IaaS products·
- Red hat OpenShift platform is mandatory.
- 8 + years of experience in the IT/Telecom industry and 4 + year of experience in cloud computing.
- Experience in working with virtualization technologies (vSphere, Xen, KVM, Red Hat Virtualization, Docker) and cloud technologies like OpenStack and OpenShift Platform.
- Understanding of basics of VMM layer and VMX protocol for virtualization. Debugging of KVM.
