Our Government Client is looking for a Senior Operations Analyst to be part of a Service team supporting the Osprey Programme.
Osprey is the Our Clients new IT platform, with associated new laptops, desktops, iPhones and iPads. Osprey replaces Firecrest and xDFID IT, bringing the whole organisation onto one IT platform, enabling effective collaboration.
The Hardware engineer will perform the following duties:
- Providing a 9/5 global operational support
- Providing 2nd line technical support
- Documenting issues and resolutions
- Skills transfer to ensure shift left capability.
- Analysing and improving the operation (CI)"
Skills and Experience
- Motivated, self-starter who can work independently; managing and prioritising their own workload and time effectively.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft O/S and applications, including but not limited to Windows Server, Exchange, SQL, Windows 10, Office365 plus general networking technologies.
- Working knowledge of remote working technologies such as MSTSC, MSRA and iLO.
- Excellent written and verbal communication with exemplary customer facing skills.
- Critical thinking and problem solving skills. Able to conduct analysis, draw persuasive conclusions and present recommendations which can be understood clearly at all user levels.
- Need to be flexible, adaptable and willing to work where needed to meet Customer demands and thereby gain a broader skill set and wider business perspective.
- Able to work effectively as part of a team.
- Previous experience of working within the Service Desk, Incident and Request Fulfilment process disciplines.
- MD100&101 Trained
- Azure 900 Trained
Constraints
Candidates submitted for this role must be British nationals, and be able to confirm:
- They are a British citizen or hold dual nationality, and
- They have been a resident in the UK for at least two of the last five years
Due to the nature of this requirement, UK Government Security Clearance if not already held will need to be obtained.
