Our Government Client is looking for a Lead Technology Bar Engineer to be part of a Service team supporting the Osprey Programme.
Osprey is Our Clients new IT platform, with associated new laptops, desktops, iPhones and iPads. Osprey replaces Firecrest and xDFID IT, bringing the whole organisation onto one IT platform, enabling effective collaboration.
We require a resource to Lead the team who provide customer facing support for end user devices at a customer facing ‘Tech Bar’ within Our Clients site in London. They will be providing hands on 2nd Line Support for Windows 10 devices, Apple iPhones including iPads and printing.
The team will be expected to resolve technical issues but also assist with those ‘how do I’ queries.
Hardware: Laptops, Desktops, Printers, Apple smartphones and iPads.
Technologies: Windows 10, iOS, Azure AD, InTune and M365 application suite.
Skills and Experience
- Leading the KCS Tech Bar Team
- Static resource manning the Tech Bar
- Technology specialists provide support services at KCS.
- Osprey subject matter expert providing knowledge and advice related to specific technological products or issues.
- Responsible for developing and administering training programs, and for creating help guides and other tech-related materials
Constraints
Candidates submitted for this role must be British nationals, and be able to confirm:
- They are a British citizen or hold dual nationality, and
- They have been a resident in the UK for at least two of the last five years
Due to the nature of this requirement, UK Government Security Clearance if not already held will need to be obtained.
The minimum Security Clearance required for this role is SC.
