Our Public Sector client is looking to recruit a number of HR Consultants.


Your main role will be to provide an HR Consultant service to employees and managers with in the business to resolve people management issues effectively and professionally.


The main focus of this role will be to contribute to the effective running of the Human Resource Advisory Service by working flexibly across all directorates and ensuring a professional and high quality service is delivered at all times.

The ideal candidate will have the following skills, experience and attributes:


  • Past HR experience at an Assistant or Advisor level
  • Engaging with employees and managers
  • Offering HR support and training where needed
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Good negotiator
  • Excellent engagement skills
  • Candidates with a NVQ or CIPD Qualification or working towards would be preferred but not essential.


The role will work in a hybrid way, partly from home, partly from the office and attending meetings in other locations within Brighton as required.
